  28. I have a Presario 982 (Pentium 90), with an internal 14.4 modem,
  29. as well as an external SupraFAX 28.8.  I did no disabling of any
  30. sort, and now my internal modem is on COM1, and the external
  31. is on COM2.. both are addressable... Its nice having a backup
  32. modem ... sort of a portable backup modem IN the machine, and
  33. my nice hi-speed external I can just plug in..  I'm confused..
  34. The machine referred to in the quoted article will not 
  35. recognize anything in addition to the internal modem?
